This three-day training, features the latest techniques and best practices for applying 3M™ Automotive Window Film. This course includes classroom instruction of 3M’s various automotive film offerings and hands-on installation instruction, including mixture ratios, trimming, heat forming and more. This is an ideal course for new installers, those first getting into the industry or those who recently became a 3M™ Authorized Dealer. At the end of the course, you also will receive from Accent Distributing a formal Certificate of Completion at a 3M™ Authorized Training Facility. *Must be a 3M Authorized Dealer for 3M™ Automotive Window Film to attend this training and/or testing.
3M™ DI-NOC™ ARCHITECTURAL FINISHES

Over the course of two days, you will acquire insights into what makes 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes unique while experiencing installation training first-hand. Classroom instruction includes details about the construction of these films, the history and the marketing points-of-sale. Through real-world scenarios (including hands-on installation on cabinets, pillars, elevator cabs and doors), you’ll gain first-hand knowledge of how to properly cut and wrap edges and a feel for the overall functionality of the film. The third day incorporates an application test in which you can earn 3M™ Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer credentials.
3M™ CERAMIC COATING

During this half-day course, expect to learn the proper application techniques of 3M™ Ceramic Coating. The classroom portion of the curriculum includes details about how 3M’s state-of-the-art coating compares to its competitors, an overview of sales points to communication to customers and instructions on how to find additional marketing materials. The hands-on portion of the course includes correcting minor paint flaws and the steps to apply the coating. You also will apply the product on 3M™ Wrap Film 2080 and 3M™ Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film. At the end of the course, you will receive from Accent Distributing a formal Certificate of Completion at a 3M™ Authorized Training Facility. 3M™ SAFETY AND SECURITY FILM

Learn how to add a layer of protection over glass by applying 3M™ Safety and Security Film. This state-of-the-art film is designed to delay unwanted entry by holding broken glass shards together after impact. Both one-day and two-day courses are available. The hands-on course gives installers experience applying the 8 mil to 14 mil heavier films through repeated installs. At the end of the course, you will receive from Accent Distributing a formal Certificate of Completion at a 3M™ Authorized Training Facility.
3M™ IMPACT PROTECTION ADHESIVE
Cost: $249 per person
Did you know that by installing IPA along with 3M™ Safety and Security Window Film, you can extend the warranty by two more years? 3M™ Impact Protection Attachment System (or IPA) bonds the film to the outer edge of the frame and strengthens the films’ hold during an impact. The attachment system is designed to offer the highest level of protection. This one-day course can be added to any 3M™ Safety and Security Film course and incorporates an hour presentation about the science behind the attachment as well as a day of hands-on installation instruction. In this three-day training you’ll learn most exacting standards and best practices for protecting vehicle surfaces from chips, scratches, and weathering. This course includes classroom instruction about the basics of paint protection film and hands-on installation instruction, including complex curve installation, film repositioning, trimming after cutting and more. At the end of the course, you also will receive from Accent Distributing a formal Certificate of Completion at a 3M™ Authorized Training Facility.

First started working with window film in 2001.
At the time, he and his business partner started tinting cars as a side business. It quickly expanded into a full-time operation that included car detailing and the installation of window film and paint protection film. Chris became the sole owner and, for 13 years, he installed window films for automotive, residential and commercial customers in Southwest Florida.
Chris offers installers a hands-on, interactive “how to” experience in his class. But his classroom also gives attendees the opportunity to network with other business owners and installers in the same field.
Andrew Rose always knew that he wanted to be an instructor and train professional window tinters in the classroom. After more than 19 years in the window film industry, Andrew joined Accent Distributing’s professional training team in 2019.
“As a film installer, I’ll tint with whatever product you give me,” Andrew said. “But I do see the quality benefits of 3M films over the other films.”
Andrew started working with window film when he was in high school. A member of Andrew’s church recruited him to join his flat glass installation crew. Several years later, Andrew started working with a friend who owned a mobile tinting company in Hernando County with connections to dealerships. After years of tinting vehicles at car dealerships, Andrew joined Accent Distributing’s Training Team.
